In the 1817, the Bell family of Adams claimed to have a witch spirit harassing them. Strange sounds, voices and physical acts came from the spirit, growing stronger until it apparently disappeared in 1828. While more than a century has passed since the encounter with Kate, the legend has not faded. Tours of the cave and of a replicated cabin are offered from May through September. Reservations are required.
