    Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame

    The large 7,200 square foot museum is located in the Gaylord Entertainment Center. Event planning is offered. An annual banquet is provided and honors athletes. Memberships for the hall of fame are available. Featured in the museum are virtual reality basketball, two theatres and interactive stations.

    Upper House Chapel and Museum
    Over 25,000 people visit the Upper House per year. The main attraction of the chapel is the woodcarving of Leonardo da Vinci's painting, the Last Supper. The museum features many collections that reflect the nature of the Upper House. Nativity scenes are presented during December and January.

    The Parthenon
    Located in Centennial Park, the Parthenon is a full-size replica of the one on the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. Situated in the Parthenon is a large 42-foot sculpture of the Athena. A permanent art collection is located on-site. This is the only replica in the world.

    Bradley Academy Museum & Cultural Center
    Bradley Academy is located in a historic building that was built in 1917 and was originally a school for African-Americans. Today the building serves as a museum and cultural center and showcases a variety of historical exhibits. Visitors enjoy perusing the heritage classroom, learning about the African-American community and viewing Civil War exhibits. A number of temporary exhibits are also featured at this museum.

    Discovery Center at Murfree Spring
    The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring aims to provide a hands-on learning environment for children and adults alike. The museums features indoor exhibit areas, 20 acres (8 ha) of wetland habitat and several outdoor exhibits. The museum is open from 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturday and from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday.

    Cumberland Science Museum

    Tennessee State Museum

    Cannonsburgh Village

    Carter House
    Located on an 8-acre Civil War battlefield near Franklin sits the Carter House. Built in 1830, the building now houses a museum about the 1864 Battle of Franklin, as well as one of the most damaged buildings from Civil War which contains more than 1,000 bullet holes. Visitors can take tour the house and grounds, watch a video and go on a self-guided tour through the museum.
