Since 1925, the Grand Ole Opry has been the longest running radio station in the United States. The studio seats 4,400 people and has included many country performers, such as Little Jimmy Dickens, Vince Gill and Lorrie Morgan. Also featured is a live half-hour segment, which is broadcasted on TNN.

The Roxy Regional Theatre began as a movie theatre in the early 20th century, and after a period of disuse was converted into a theatre for live entertainment. Since 1983, the theatre has hosted over 250 mainstage productions by the resident theatre company, garnering numerous awards.

Home of the Jubilee Singers, Jubilee Hall is located on the Fisk University campus. The original Jubilee Singers were the first African-American singing group to gain international acclaim for their vocal talents. It was this original troupe that built the Hall, the school's first permanent building and one of the oldest structures at Fisk.
